Each course offers strands from the PA standards tested on the Praxis II test. These courses are non-credit, non-grade bearing courses offered through the Math Forum at Drexel University. For each of these courses, we will provide you with the textbook and technology needed for the course including a graphing calculator and geometer’s sketchpad. Continuing Professional Credit will be awarded for each completed course as you prepare for the Mathematics Praxis II exam of your choice. When you have completed the five courses (four for the middle level Praxis II), we will pay your registration fees for the Praxis II.

Each of the courses will be offered through our Online Asynchronous Collaboration model allowing teachers to learn from each other rather than going it alone, learn at convenient times from school or home rather than traveling at set times, and is intended to enrich your teaching experience, not just prepare you for the Praxis II.

The courses include:

• More content knowledge
• More representations of mathematics to support your students learning
• More language around mathematics to support your students learning
• Methods of teaching Elementary Mathematics that impact underprepared Secondary Students
